We are a community of Roman Catholic monks of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance [OCSO] dedicated to seeking God and following the Gospel in prayer and work.
We live a contemplative monastic life and so the main focus of our living is the celebration of the liturgy throughout the day, with periods for personal prayer and study combined with work.
We do not normally undertake any external apostolic work in with the Constitutions of our Order.
Notice of monks’ annual retreat
The monks’ annual retreat is scheduled for 20th to 28th July, 2026. Retreat period is always a special time, time set apart for special encounter with the Lord.
Please pray for the monks for a successful retreat.
